So here are some things, you have to do when you got an idea to make a book on your own:
▲an IDEA!!! ▲collecting information and finding contacts ▲lots of e-mailing with artists ▲designing the layout of the book ▲designing all 192 pages of the book, also covers ▲thinking about texts in the book ▲finding editor and language copy editor ▲making lots of corrections ▲finding printhouse ▲deciding which paper to use ▲FINDing the MONEY! ▲making a project at Hooandja (kickstarter) website, thinking about text, video and gifts ▲making contracts with artists (47!!!) ▲reminding the artists to sign the d... papers! ▲after the success of the Hooandja project, e-mailing and saying thaks to all 177 people taking part of it ▲making gifts to 164 people including 1 tattoo design, 2 logo designs, 4 portrait posters, 12 t-shirts, 33 framed illustrations, and of course, 164 copies of the book ▲delivering all those gifts by hand or post ▲driving to the printhouse and draging 520 books into you little car ▲making contracts with bookstores ▲driving 120 books to warehouse ▲meeting artist personally (finally!) ▲making presentation of the book ▲selling the book and making invoices ▲having a new idea making next one :)
